The Rome Nun: Daughter of Pio

This photo was taken yesterday of the Francescani dell'Immacolata sisters in Rome.

The sister who conducts the choir is a Roman.  Always nice to see local vocations from the Holy City.

Her parents had 12 children and 9 survived to adulthood and 7 have become priests or religious.  Her father was one of 21 children and his name is Pio.  A good and holy Roman family.  Pio knew Padre Pio who was his spiritual father.  Pio's brother, Fr. Stefano Manelli founded the Francescani dell'Immacolata.

Laus Deo.
