  2. That is hilarious! I'm laughing so much that I'm crying. Whoever did that did it right. I love the gold embroidered velvet papal slippers.

  3. WOW, can you say photo shopped! That is John the 23rd.

  4. A plastic chair is more the style of Pope Francis. Whoever made this picture lives in a dream world. And it makes traditional, faithful Catholics feel very badly, because we know that unlike the great Benedict XVI who tried to bring back at least some of the beautiful liturgy and vestments of the Papacy, this guy Francis would never sit on this throne.
Francis has no Papal dignity or style whatsoever. If even the New York Times editorial laughs at him for wearing papal cassocks so thin and cheap that you can see his black clerical slacks underneath, there's something very wrong. Even Benedict XVI wore the traditional papal white "Knickers" which came down to the knee and then white papal knee socks.
Not this guy Francis. Don't be surprised to see him walking with his black clerical pants and white or grey open necked clergy shirt like so many other Roman priests slum around in!

  5. This picture is terrible. Its a doctored photo of Blessed John XXIII with the head of Pope Francis. Don't get your hopes up, the Pope is never going to use the great Leo XIII throne, as Pope Benedict did, and will never wear any jewelled cross no matter the solemnity. All things a fleeting.

  6. You do, of course know, that this is photoshopped. It's the body of John XXIII and the head of Pope Francis.

  7. John,

Back in October my son and I drove over to Mater Ecclesiae in NJ (I live in Lancaster Cty, PA) for the Blessed Karl Mass. There on the wall, they had a photo of Pope Francis in white cassock and red mozzetta. At first I thought he'd given in and finally dressed the part, although I couldn't imagine how I missed it. Later, I began to wonder. Then it hit me. Something about that picture looked mighty familiar, not to mention that Francis doesn't wear a gold pectoral cross. They'd taken this portrait, and photoshopped his head on it. http://www.internetmonk.com/wp-content/uploads/joseph-cardinal-ratzinger.jpg

  9. I would like to know why do you intend to fool yourself and your readers: this is obviously a photoshopped image of Pope John XXIII with Pope Francis’ head!

  10. PARECE EL CUERPO DE JUAN XXIII Y NO DE FRANCISCO, DE FRANCISCO NADA MAS LA CARA. ES EXTRAÑO PUES EL NO QUIERE NADA CON LOS ORNAMENTOS PAPALES COMO LA CRUZ PECTORAL DE ORO CON PIEDRAS Y LAS ZAPATILLAS TAN HERMOSAS QUE SE APRECIAN, PREFIERE LOS ZAPATOS CHUECOS.
